Pretty Girl
I have a 12yo spayed female German Shepherd Dog. Dr. Bart has been performing acupuncture treatments on her for more than 6 months now. She was diagnosed with Spondylosis in 2008 and also has some arthritis in her back end. I have been giving her joint supplements well over 7 yrs. now. In April 2010, my girl was dragging her back feet a little and showing signs of slowing down. Although, she seemed okay...I didn't feel she was 100%. With Dr Bart's help, she no longer drags her back feet; she seems more comfortable at home and is back to her crazy shepherd self.

My girl is still able to go on long walks and play fetch with her tennis ball. Dr Bart has definitely opened my mind up to Eastern Medicine. With his food suggestions, I have found my dog to be brighter, happier and calmer. I feel that I'm extremely skeptical of the new things, but after the first acupuncture treatment, the results were undeniable. He welcomes questions and feedback. He takes the time to explain what might be going at the time and why. I feel this is necessary for those that want better insight on their pets' treatment.

Dr. Bart and the really great staff at Evergreen Animal Hospital:
Prior to finding Dr. Bart, Sophie was in really bad shape, physically and emotionally. We had been going to endless vets, several ER visits, with Sophie having to endure many painful treatments and drugs, all to no avail. All the problems remained. I had begun to consider that she just could not continue to suffer through this torture much longer.
Dr. Bart has literally brought Sophie back to life. Finally, someone who actually cares enough to take the time and effort to look deeper, and resolve the base issues, instead of just masking the symptoms with drugs. The treatment combinations of acupuncture, herbs and lomi lomi, along with dietary advice, have been nothing short of amazing for Sophie's overall health. Combine Dr. Bart with an entire staff of intelligent, efficient and truly kind people and you get really superior animal companion care. It has been the greatest blessing to see Sophie healthy and happy.

Dear Dr. Kielkopf and Evergreen Animal Hospital Staff,
My family and I want to let you all know how much we appreciate the amazing care you took of Oscar (and us). I know you probably hear this all the time, but Oscar was so much more to me than a dog, he was a vital part of my family. I always felt that all of you at Evergreen understood that bond and treated my family and Oscar with the understanding that he was more than just a pet to us, thank you.

There were definitely difficult times after Oscar got diagnosed with lymphoma back in August. A lot of fear, sadness, decision making and second guessing. Despite all of that, I got 8 more months with my beloved Oscar, and for that alone, I feel truly blessed. I know it was Oscar's will to fight and all of the great care Dr. Dorothy and the Staff provided, that allowed my family to have that extra precious time with Oscar.

When it was time to finally let Oscar go, Evergreen Animal Hospital handled this delicate situation with complete professionalism and compassion. My family and I took comfort in knowing we had the support of the staff with the difficult decision we had made.

I could go on for pages about how thankful we are for Dr. Dorothy, and the staff at Evergreen. Instead, my family and I wanted to show you our gratitude. We have made a donation of $75.00 in the honor of Evergreen Animal Hospital, to the Humane Society of the United States. It is just a small symbol of thanks, but it will go to help the animals we all love so much.

With a heavy, but grateful heart, I send you all a million thanks.
